Warren Averett is seeking an Accountant for our Foley, AL office. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, sales tax, etc.. 


  • Prepare simple tax returns with minimal supervision
  • Participate with more experienced personnel in coordinating large client engagements
  • Prepare and post journal entries for multiple clients
  • Prepare and analyze account reconciliations for multiple clients
  • Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements, cash flow, budgets
  • Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings
  • Maintain quality client relationships


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge of and have ability to research Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations
  • Knowledge of basic of software packages. Experience with WINFAS, Profx a plus
  • Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients
