Warren Averett Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join a growing company located in Danville, AL. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and recording accounting transactions for multiple entities within parent company
  • Assist with payroll processing – timeclock records
  • Creating and updating expense reports
  • Manage payables received from vendors
  • Assist with Processing and Verifying Contractor Invoices
  • Assist with Customer invoice Preparation
  • Perform other accounting tasks and special projects as needed
  • Record transactions in detail for various entities 
  • Assist with quarterly and month end reporting
  • Help maintain accurate and complete financial records for all companies
  • Help maintain detailed files and documentation for all company audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • QuickBooks Experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel)
