Warren Averett Staffing and Recruiting is currently seeking a Treasury Revenue Manager for a client in Dunwoody, GA. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will also lead a team.

The Treasury Revenue Manager position is responsible for oversight of the entire revenue, accounts receivable, direct billing and credit functions of the company. This role will report directly to the Controller and manage a staff of 4 to 5 junior staff members. This leadership role within the organization will require development and maintenance of new and existing processes, procedures and controls to support ongoing growth in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Treasury functions include daily cash report preparation, review and maintenance of existing bank account structure to optimize efficiency, and acting as liaison with the company’s banking partners to administer new account setup and existing account changes on a timely basis. 
  • Manages the relationship with the organization’s third party credit card processing and account reconciliation partners.
  • Assist in reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger activity
  • Oversee reconciliation processes between cash and the several subsystems used in revenue processes, including NiteVision, T-Recs and Tsys.
  • Monitor Capital Reserve Accounts
  • Initiate and monitor draws on the capital accounts – track capex
  • Monitor draws on A&D loans
  • Monitor tax accrual accounts – sales tax collections vs payments out
  • Manages the processes of invoicing, collections and monitoring for direct bill accounts.
  • Oversee the extension of credit to corporate and government organizations, including determination of credit limits and terms to direct bill accounts.
  • Leads the property audits of company’s extended stay portfolio, reviewing cash and credit card transaction selections to ensure operational compliance with established procedures for the various cash handling transactions that occur daily on the property.
  • Review aged receivables for collection issues, contact direct bill accounts for payment, and subsequently prepare and record monthly bad debt expense estimates.
  • Develop communication integral to the organization’s Operations and IT partners.
  • Supervise and train professional staff of five employees

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in corporate accounting setting, preferably with Banking/Treasury experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills – able to articulate key insights to management and interact effectively with employees in Finance, IT, and Operations.
  • Solid leadership skills that demonstrate a hands-on approach in working in a team-based environment.
  • Real estate and/or hospitality experience a plus.
