Warren Averett Staffing and Recruiting is looking for an experienced Corporate Accounting Systems Manager to join a large client of ours in the St. Pete/Clearwater area. This role will oversee the completion of special financial reporting and implementation of updates to financial systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees financial reporting and analysis to ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Troubleshoot and provides technical expertise in resolving system and report issues and propose technical solutions where applicable. 
  • Oversee completion of special financial reporting and implementation of updates to financial systems, processes and reports.
  • Review CAS team updates of complex Excel based VBA macro driven SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) reports.
  • Oversee the collection and consolidation of the quarterly worldwide forecast and act as liaison with IT on BPC maintenance and corporate reporting needs from SAP/BW.
  • Manages the quarterly collection and consolidation of the worldwide forecast information including user data submission support, adjusting entries, preparation and distribution of reporting, forecast review presentations, and Board of Directors presentations.
  • Assists with the monthly/quarterly “actuals” closing process including user data submission support, reporting, preparation of quarterly Sr. Management Review presentations, and collection of SOX 302 certifications.
  • Provides management and other departments with accurate, timely and useful communications, including reports and analysis to enable them to make appropriate decisions.
  • Manages the end-to-end processes in consideration of cross-functional impact.
  • Oversees maintenance/updates/security to the corporate financial systems including SAP BPC, BlackLine, SharePoint & Workiva WDesk certifications.
  • Defines and implements updates and maintenance to Corporate Accounting financial systems, collection templates and reports (primarily excel driven reports using the SAP BPC add-in and VBA coding).
  • Collaborates with IT to manage system changes and mitigate risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with progressive responsibility. At least 1-3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • VBA knowledge is a plus.
  • SAP experience desired but not required.  Familiar with data extraction using SAP T-codes and BW queries (Business Warehouse).  Ability to build webi or Crystal reports and to query SAP data using Analysis for Microsoft Excel tool.   
  • Ability to use other relevant computer system applications, a plus. (Access, Word, Workiva WDesk, BlackLine, SAP R3, BW, etc).
